Nokia X3 Mobile Phone

Nokia X3 cell phoneThe Nokia x3 handset belongs to the Nokia Xseries. As of now, the only other phone in the series is the X6 a smartphone that comes with a high price tag. The Nokia X3, however, is friendlier to your wallet and is not a smartphone. You should not get a hint of disappointment from that last sentence because when we wrote this Nokia x3 review, we surely were not let down. A lot of people are buying this phone on contract and getting an unlimited texts sim.

So let’s get to it. Let’s start our Nokia x3 review with the physical aspects. Unlike its more expensive brother, this handset is not a touch screen phone. It is a slider handset that weighs 103 grams. Its screen measures 2.2 inches with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. It’s not the brightest screen in the planet but it does its job well. As for the construction, we can honestly say that this handset looks expensive. No matter which colour you get, you will have a handset that will impress others. It has sleek straight lines and a keypad with brushed metal finish. Feels great in your hand and looks awesome, too.

The telephone functions of this handset is one of the things we enjoyed when we made this Nokia x3 review. Talking to someone on the phone was smooth and clear, thanks to the Voice Clarity feature. Details and Download…

HTC Magic Review

June 1st, 2009

htc-magicWhen the HTC Magic was released, a lot of people immediately compared it to the iPhone. With its looks and features, this was pretty much predictable. But how does the HTC Magic compare to the iPhone? Is it better? Will it finally topple over iPhone’s reign as leader of the smartphones?

At first look, one will see that the HTC Magic is well-designed. It is definitely better-looking than the T-Mobile G1, the only other android phone available in the UK. Unlike the G1, the HTC Magic does not have a slide-out keyboard. This makes the device more compact and a whole lot lighter. Obviously, the touchscreen is a little bit smaller, too, and this can be a problem for some people. Right below the screen are buttons for navigating the device. There is a trackball that proves to be useless as you can navigate the menu through the touchscreen. When it comes to inputting text, you have to use the on-screen virtual keyboard. This takes some getting used to and some might say that a real slide-out keyboard would have been better, but if you have an Unlimited Texts contract I am sure you will still text the best as the HTC Magic’s responsive screen makes typing so much easier. The vibrate feedback is also a great help. Another good aspect is the accelerometer, which allows you to change from vertical to horizontal orientation. This is especially helpful when you’re viewing web pages. Details and Download…
