At the CES last week, T-Mobile took center stage to debut its upcoming phone launches. One of the most awaited phones the Motorola Cliq 2 was finally unveiled. The Cliq 2 is the successor of Motorola’s Cliq smartphone and the upgraded model of the latter is a 3G smartphone powered by Android 2.2.
Releasing by T-Mobile on January 19, the Motorola Cliq 2 works on a fast 1GHz processor and comes with a huge 3.7-inch FWVGA touch screen. With a smoothly designed keypad, Motorola, as an attempt to entice customers, claims that this phone “will definitely balance your life”. It is powered by a 1420mAh battery with up to 7.9 hours of talk time and 13 days of standby time.
The Motorola Cliq 2 is equipped with features that will appeal to both business users and the common men as well. It allows access, from its homescreen, to social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace through MOTOBLUR. With a 5-megapixel camera that comes with digital zoom and auto focus, this new Motorola 3G smartphone is all about helping users stay connected to whatever is happening in their world.
Motorola and Verizon Wireless officially announced the first handset that runs the latest Android 2.0 platform – the new Motorola DROID.
Motorola DROID features a 3.7 inch, 480 x 854 pixels capacitive touchscreen display, a 5.0 megapixel autofocus camera with dual-LED flash, 3G and WiFi data connectivity, 16GB of storage space and a lot of Google applications.
DROID is the first smartphone with new Google Maps Navigation service, providing a free turn-by-turn voice guidance. Use Street View or satellite imagery to view your route, and get access to the most recent maps and business information from Google Maps without ever needing to update your device. The DROID also has a Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk, Android Market, Calendar, Amazon MP3 Store, and Verizon Wireless Visual Voice Mail.

The slider phone will feature a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, a standard 12-button keypad and 3G connectivity. A microSD card slot and 2 megapixel camera as well.
Motorola Evoke QA4 will also have built-in A-GPS navigation, will come with widget support for weather, news headlines, etc; tethering mode for data and built-in accelerometer. Motorola Evoke QA4 will also be able to Sync with Google Contacts, YouTube and Picasa accounts.

The Motorola ZN300 is a slider set with quad-band GSM, CDMA, and TD-SCDMA, 3.1 megapixel camera with fixed focus, LED flash, 8x digital zoom and video recording.
The screen is a 240 x 320 pixels, about 2.1 in size. The Motorola ZN300 supports stereo Bluetooth, USB 2.0, microSD expandable memory (can be expand to 32 GB) and comes with a Video Mixer application that lets you add transition and sound effects to videos.
But the lack of 3G or WiFi will possibly make this a pretty miserable experience.
